TV & Radio personality, Tim Blackwell can be heard from 4-6 PM each week day co-hosting NOVA’s National Drive show with Kate Richie and Marty Sheargold. Tim has been appearing on radio ever since he convinced his local Sydney community station to let him on air. Since then, he hasn’t stopped and now he actually gets paid to do what he loves!

Having started with the Nova Network occupying a studio chair as a late night announcer in 2001, Tim was the first voice on air to launch Perth’s Nova 93.7 FM in 2002 with the Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Soon after, he packed his bags and moved back to Sydney to host the drive show on Nova 96.9 FM. After stints as breakfast anchor, co-host on nights, breakfast and drive, Tim found his new home alongside Kate Ritchie and Marty Sheargold for the national drive show in 2014.

A man of many talents, Tim often appears on Channel Nine’s Mornings, Network Ten’s The Project and Channel Seven’s Sunrise, as well as hosting cooking and travel segments.

Tim is a lover of fast cars, loud music and exciting sport, having driven on Maserati track days, regularly MCing events for Hawthorn AFL Club and hosting at festivals and concerts across the globe, including V Festival with Queens of the Stone Age and Duran Duran. A devout muso at heart, Tim has had the opportunity to travel the world interviewing some of the musical world’s biggest names for radio & online material.

Since 2009, Tim has also devoted his time to becoming a family man with wife Monique, with their daughter Bo born in 2013 and baby number 2 due in 2015.
