Want to inspire your delegates or colleagues to live and work with true vitality?

A refreshing, cliché-free keynote speaker, Thea O’Connor creates impact by connecting audiences with their innate intelligence. Thea works with leaders, teams and individuals to improve personal wellbeing and workplace effectiveness – vital ingredients for long-term career success.

As a Personal Sustainability Specialist, Thea O’Connor offers unique principles and practices for renewing energy and focusing attention during a typical, hyper-connected working day. She champions the concept of BQ as she believes that body intelligence is key to help workers not just survive but thrive in the fourth industrial revolution.

Thea brings over 25 years experience in health promotion to her work, including in white and blue-collar Australian workplaces. As a university science graduate and health journalist, including for the Law Society Journal and In The Black magazine, Thea stays right up to date with the latest science of high performance and wellbeing.

As a wellbeing and productivity coach with a background as a dietitian, workplace trainer for beyondblue – the national depression initiative, and QUIT smoking facilitator, she has her finger on the pulse of the common challenges workers face in sustaining their energy, mood and mental acuity.

As the world’s original ‘Naptivist’ Thea is not interested in business as usual. She’s more interested in what works – and if that means embracing the powernap to boost energy and attention – then bring it on! She is the Founder of NapNow: Work Smarter, Live Brighter.

Thea considers herself to be a long-standing Advocate of the Body in an increasingly disembodied culture that drives us to override our natural rhythms, then over-rely on artificial stimulation to get us through the day. With Thea you will learn how to work in tune with your body’s natural biological rhythms, and tap into your reservoir of natural, sustainable energy.
