While Samantha Riley's success has already etched her name in Australian swimming history, her enthusiasm, commitment and strong desire to win means she will continue to succeed. Officially retired in 2001, Sam will be forever known as one of Australia's greatest ever female swimmers. Gracious and charming, Samantha is also one of Australia's most popular sporting personalities. Areas of speciality include Sport Identities. During Sam’s swimming career her professional attitude and enthusiasm afforded her international success. Some of Sam’s greatest achievements include three Olympic medals, two world championship gold medals, five Commonwealth Games medals (four gold) and nine Pan Pacific Games medals. She’s also set three world and two commonwealth records.

Mark Bosnich, or ‘Bozza’ as he is affectionately known, is one of Australia’s most famous football exports. Areas of speciality include Sport Identities. At the peak of Mark’s sporting career, he led the high life in England as one of the world’s highest paid football stars and is still considered by many authorities as one of the finest goalkeepers in the world.

Paul Vautin AKA 'Fatty Vautin' is more well known - aside from his many sporting achievements - for being the host of the ever popular "The Footy Show". Areas of speciality include Sport Identities. The first of Vautin’s credits is that he played in the 204 First Grade Rugby League games, with Manly Warringah. Then became the First grade Captain, including the Premiership winning manly side in 1987. He then Traded to the ES Roosters and had 2 seasons including 23 State of Origin games for Queensland.

Lauren Mitchell is Australia's most successful ever female gymnast. She is Australia's first World Championship Gold medallist and the reigning Commonwealth Games Champion in multiple disciplines. Areas of speciality include Sport Identities. At the London 2012 Olympic Games, Lauren achieved the outstanding result of fifth in the floor final. She missed a bronze medal by 0.066. This is a wonderful achievement and it’s the best result of an Australian gymnast at an Olympic Games.

Affectionately known to many as 'Thorpedo', Ian Thorpe is Australia's most decorated Olympian and one of Australia's favourite sons. Areas of speciality include Sport Identities. Ian started swimming when he was eight years old and first grabbed world attention when he won the 1998 world 400m freestyle title in Perth, at 15 becomming the youngest ever swimming world champion. From that point onward Ian dominated middle distance swimming and in the process has become one of the most prolific athletes the sport has even seen.

Dual World Champion water skier, boxer, TV presenter - Lauryn Eagle is often described as a glamorous elite athlete. Areas of speciality include Sport Identities. She is currently the Australian Champion in Water Skiing and is ranked 3rd in the world. In recent years Lauryn took up another non-conventional sport – professional boxing, in which she also fought her way to the top. Until recently she was the super featherweight World Title holder, she had to give it up to claim an Australian title of which she now holds the belt for. Lauryn currently has her sights set on learning a new sport in the women’s Rugby Sevens.

Paul Warren demonstrated courageous attitude and extensive determination when he lost one of his legs after an improvised explosive device detonated whilst he was based in Afghanistan. The young soldier’s life would be forever changed in that moment. Areas of speciality include Sport Identities. A former Muay Thai kick-boxing Champion, Paul was used to the physical punishment, but nothing could prepare him for what he faced when he joined the Australian Army.
