It’s hard to find a memory that doesn’t have music in it – whether it was singing to the radio in the car, listening to music whilst doing our homework, or dancing at a family gathering. Areas of speciality include Soloists. Because Monica Oriel was so young when she first started singing, it has always been a big part of who she is. When Monica first started primary school at 5, the local nuns would take her out of class for singing lessons and she would sing with the church choir on the weekends.

gregg-arthur Image
When you think of cool rhythms and velvet tones from a man on stage in a well cut suit you might be forgiven for thinking of Frank Sinatra or Tony Bennett, but this time it's none other than Australia's very own Gregg Arthur, interpreting in his own way the classic songs from the Great American Songbook. Areas of speciality include Soloists. Gregg’s recordings evoke an era of elegance and style, a time when the music was performed with phrasing that emphasized the storytelling behind these songs. The Great American Songbook is a collection of music, which was written for singers with technique – power doesn’t suit these tunes, they require nuance, which Gregg Arthur delivers in spades.
