With more than 20 years in Australian television and live events, Sally Stanton is an accomplished presenter and MC known for her warmth, quick thinking and natural ability to connect with almost anyone.
Best known for her long-running role on Channel 7’s Sydney Weekender and as a former host of Saturday Disney, Sally has built an impressive career spanning travel, food and wine, lifestyle and children’s programming. Engaging, energetic and effortlessly personable, she brings broadcast polish to every event without ever feeling overly formal or scripted.
A skilled and curious interviewer, Sally has spoken with everyone from Hollywood stars, politicians and celebrated chefs to athletes, authors, families and children. She knows how to draw out a great story, guide a thoughtful conversation and put even the most nervous guest at ease.
Sally’s live experience is equally versatile. She has hosted large community celebrations including the Glebe Christmas Concert, presented lifestyle events such as the Woolworths Supper Series, and led intimate author conversations and book launches. Behind the microphone, Sally is the creator and host of the family travel podcast Snacks and Suitcases, combining her love of travel with lively, relatable storytelling. Proudly Japanese-Australian, her passion for exploring the world began with childhood trips to Japan to visit her family and continues to shape her warm, inquisitive approach to presenting.
Sally also teaches presentation skills at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), sharing the expertise gained throughout her extensive on-camera and live career.
