Kate has loved cooking for almost as long as she can remember! Growing up she loved helping her Nanna to crumb lamb cutlets, she invited her parents to her 'restaurant' in their dining room and her chosen work experience at age fifteen was in the kitchen of a fine dining restaurant. Little did she know then that one day she would take out the title of Masterchef 2011! Areas of speciality include Food & Wine Speakers. Since winning the hit television competition Kate has written her first cookbook The Sweet Life, and countless other recipes for food festivals, magazine publications, cooking demonstrations around the country and corporate advertising campaigns.

Stefano Manfredi is one of Sydneys most celebrated chefs. He has influenced the way we eat in Sydney since he first opened The Restaurant in 1983 (renamed The Restaurant Manfredi in 1993) which won the coveted Sydney Morning Herald three hat award in 1994. Areas of speciality include Food & Wine Speakers. bel mondo opened in 1996 and was immediately showered with awards including the Insegna del Ristorante from the Italian Government. In 1998 and 1999, bel mondo was awarded American Express Best Sydney City Restaurant, also winning Best NSW Restaurant in 1999.

A self-confessed "Ferd" or "Food Nerd" Alice is bubbly, bright, loves exercise and is a real theatre buff. She says she hasn't repeated an outfit for three years. Areas of speciality include Food & Wine Speakers. “I’m not very serious except when it comes to 3 things – and they all start with F – Food, Fashion and Fitness.” Alice’s childhood memories all have something to do with food – helping grandma with dumplings, making Georgian sauces with her mum and watching her grandad make wine.

Tom Walton is a young, healthy, accomplished chef. Tom’s interests and knowledge extend beyond food and into his life, where he lives and breathes his passion for health, fitness, lifestyle and wellbeing. In addition to the long term success of The Bucket List in Bondi, Tom’s recent achievement include hosting demonstrations at Taste Sydney and Perth and at the Anatara, launching the Dux Nuts – his own range of muesli and granola stocked across Australia and internationally, and opening Deus Bar & Kitchen in Camperdown.

MasterChef audience favourite Dani Venn made a big splash on our screens in 2011. The MasterChef judges were impressed with her knowledge of Asian flavours, skill in the kitchen and her enthusiastic and relentless energy. They loved Dani so much that they asked her to be apart of the MasterChef All Stars series this year. Areas of speciality include Food & Wine Speakers. Dani is a regular on Nova 100’s Hughesy and Kate breakfast show in Melbourne and is also a Starlight Foundation ‘Serving Up Smiles’ Ambassador.

Alvin Quah, a Buddhist born, Cantonese and Hokkien speaking, Chinese Malaysian, was born in Kuala Lumpur in 1974. In the melting pot of food culture that Malaysia is, his cooking eductation started young. Areas of speciality include Food & Wine Speakers. At four years old, Alvin remembers learning, under his Mothers watchful eye, how to shape and roll glutinous rice dumplings that would later be boiled in a ginger syrup.

Youngest contestant and runner up Callum Hann, put aside his engineering degree to compete in the second series of the Ch10 ratings juggernaut MasterChef Australia. Determined to soak up as much culinary knowledge as he could his ultimate goal was to peruse a career as chef whether he won or not. Areas of speciality include Food & Wine Speakers. Inspired by his father who passed away, Callum says he took over a lot of the cooking at home for his mum and sister. Having always followed the academic path, becoming a chef had never occurred to him until an opportunity with MasterChef arose.

The dynamic duo went on to be one of the series finalists and the most loved contestants on the season. They stood out from the pack with their modern twist on classic Greek food.

Growing up on Sydney's beautiful northern beaches there wasn't much that would drag Hayden away from the surf and sand but there was one thing that was always guaranteed to get him home by sun down, his Mum's cooking. Mum, Jo-Anne a Home Economist, spotted her sons enthusiasm for cooking at an early age and it was this eagerness to learn (or maybe the appeal of a kitchen hand) that saw Jo-Anne teaching a young Hayden everything she knew about food.
