When Rolling Stone's Tim Duggan proclaimed The Potbelleez to be the fastest rising stars of the dance scene in 2007 he could not have foreseen how quickly this Sydney-based, dancefloor-devastating live act would explode across the country. The Potbelleez legendary live show has hit every major festival in the country including Global Gathering, MTV Snowjam, Future Music Festival, Good Vibrations, We Love Sounds, Homebake and the MTV Awards. At the same time headlining incredible events such as The Australian Grand Prix, ‘A-League’ Football Grand Final, Channel 10’s live NYE broadcast at Darling Harbour and the Australian Idol Finale on the Sydney Opera House steps.

EMPiRE LIVE are one of Australia’s hottest live party acts, creating a serious buzz for their amazing live shows. Areas of speciality include Disc Jockeys. Originally meeting as part of the house band for one of Melbourne’s most enduring venues, both powerhouse vocalist Katherine Tanner and DJ/percussionist Nic Noble hit it off and decided to form their own group. DJ Josh

Producer/DJ/Guitarist Josh has been at the forefront of the Australian soul/funk/disco/boogie music scene for over 20 years, either behind the decks at venues like the iconic Opera Bar, making records for acts like the uber trendy Confection and Fatback 4Way or as a band member with Aussie funk legends Swoop and Professor Groove and The Booty Affair. Areas of speciality include Disc Jockeys. As a Disc Jockey, Josh predominantly plays a brilliant mix of classic funk, soul and disco from the 70’s, 80’sand 90’s interspersed with some modern gems, guaranteed to have people smiling, singing and dancing, and it’s not uncommon to find him jamming along on guitar at the same time!

Stephen is a celebrated Sydney radio show host and announcer, programmer, dj, performer, interviewer and well-connected personality. Areas of speciality include Disc Jockeys. Stephen started his DJ career in San Francisco. It was this sojourn to the US that introduced him to what was to become his lifelong passion – soul – be it fashioned in disco, funk, hip-hop, latin, house, jazz or pop.

Rick Robertson Solo

Rick Robertson sings like a bird, blows a mean sax and DJs. The sax man from dig (directions in groove) has a few new tricks up his sleeve, and Rick has become a versatile performer and develops beats and backing tracks that sound rich, original and groove like crazy. Areas of speciality include Disc Jockeys. Multi award winning saxophonist and vocalist Rick Robertson is also a DJ who has filled dance floors at hundreds of weddings, private and corporate events.
