Her pursuits have taken her across the country, from pounding the pavement as a Real Estate Agent to kicking goals both on and off the footy field – as a player and commentator for Channel 7 and Triple M, hosting her own adventure TV and content series, starring in two seasons of Australian Survivor on Channel 10, and speaking at events.

Known for her outstanding professionalism, down-to-earth communication, hard work, and can-do attitude, Abbey has earned a reputation as a leader, mentor, and recognised public figure.
Originally from South Australia, Abbey has lived all over the country in the past decade and has consistently achieved at a high level since her youth. She represented Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory in netball, but found her true calling when she started playing football competitively in the NTFL.

Abbey first gained national media attention as the first female Australian Rules Footballer to kick 100+ goals in an established women’s league season. Although proud of this achievement, she is prouder of the attention it brought to women’s football across the country at a crucial time.

Since then, Abbey has played in several charity football matches, including the EJ Whitten Legends Game and the Slowdown, raising much-needed funds for prostate cancer research and children’s oncology treatment. It was through this work that Abbey solidified her status as a role model and respected figure nationwide.
